This was such a magical evening for us! I’ve shot with horses a couple times in my photography career; however, never with two horse and never this beautiful in fact! What amazing creatures they truly are. Maddy and her family are the sweetest! The evening started out with portrait shots within the trees and mountains. Golden hour was absolutely stunning — We captured both posed and unposed candid senior photos some with an editorial essence.

Then it was onto the shots with the horses that we captured both in the dress and riding wardrobe. This was very special to be able to tell a story of the connection between Maddy and her horses. I wanted to make sure to capture the connection both close up and from a distance while she rode into the sunset. Give us all the horse sessions! 🙂 Now that we have a daughter of our own, looking back at these senior photos from a parent perspective means even more and made us feel a certain type of way. So thankful for this session and the friendships made!
