Shayda and Luke’s timeless wedding day was so incredibly amazing and joy-filled! The celebration took place at The Virgil, a stunning boutique wedding venue in Reno, Nevada. With its breathtaking crystal chandeliers (one dating back to the 1900s), vaulted ceilings, historic red-brick facade and stained-glass details adorning its tall windows, it offers an air of luxury and elegance.
Shayda arrived at the bridal suite with her girls, getting pampered by the incredibly talented Loni from Desert Curls Studio for hair (arrived with makeup done by the wonderful The Little Bukowski). Her Miosa Bride lace gown with floral lace pieces falling perfectly on her shoulders – it was simply stunning, fitting her like a dream! As the ceremony began, emotions overflowed with heartfelt prayers, happy tears and an undeniable sense of joy.
Dinner was an elegant and intimate affair, catered by Crème Catering, featuring delicious pasta, chicken, rolls, salad and more! The table settings were minimalistic and timeless – each place graced with a personalized napkin, sealed with a Ferrero Rocher on top, adding such a sweet and thoughtful touch!
The reception was an absolute blast! With DJ Funn (someone I had the pleasure of working with at my own wedding!) – he made sure the night flowed seamlessly and the dance floor stayed packed! Guests celebrated into the evening, creating unforgettable memories filled with laughter, music and so, so, SO much love! 🙂 The Virgil has a loft type space and it was so fun to watch everyone dance away!
