Wow, I don’t even know where to begin with Alli and Travis’s wedding! It was truly one for the books! Their wedding has been featured in the Real Weddings Magazine Winter/Spring 2025 Issue and published on their blog – You can read it here!
Their entire day unfolded at Aspen Creek Lodge in Markleeville, California. Nestled within 38 acres of breathtaking natural beauty, the lodge offers an exquisite array of indoor and outdoor spaces, featuring a stunning mountain backdrop and a dreamy meadow – the perfect setting for such a magical day. Both Alli and Travis got ready here! Alli put together a special box for me for the detail shots, filled with pressed flowers, ribbons and fabric that matched their wedding colors. The wind picked up while I was photographing them outside, so I moved inside and set up on a stone fireplace and that was such a nice touch to bring it all together!
Before the day officially kicked off, Alli looking breathtaking while enjoying a sandwich in her gorgeous gown from The Bridal Box Roseville, while Travis toasted with his groomsmen, dressed in Generation Tux. I set up her father for their first look and when the moment came, it was incredibly heartfelt. Alli had written him a letter, sealed with wax, which he opened and read. These moments always bring tears to my eyes – not just because they are so beautiful, but because I never got to share that moment with my own dad. I know he was watching from above, though, smiling down.
Then, it was time to walk down the aisle. A sign welcomed guests with, “Pick a seat, there’s no sides… Only good vibes.” The ceremony, planned to perfection by Event Planning by Annie, was breathtaking. Alli made her entrance to a Taylor Swift song and as she and Travis walked back as husband and wife, they were showered in white rose petals – it was pure magic!
The reception was so beautiful! Long wooden tables framed a lively dance floor, were decorated with vibrant wildflowers and stunning arrangements by Sweet Stems & Co. The carefully curated tablescapes, complemented by rentals from EDH Party Rentals and elegant napkins from Tablecloths Factory, added to the enchanting atmosphere. Dinner, catered by Bella Vita Bistro, was absolutely delicious and drinks flowed effortlessly from the stylish CV Flyte mobile bar!
The evening continued with heartfelt speeches, unforgettable first dances and the sweetest treats from Crazy Good Bakery & Cafe. The dance floor stayed packed thanks to Full Moon Entertainment, setting the perfect vibe for the night! As the night came to a close, Alli and Travis made the cutest exit in cozy matching Mr. & Mrs. sweatsuits – an adorable ending to an unforgettable day!
I’m beyond grateful to have been part of such a beautifully orchestrated celebration alongside such an amazing team of vendors. Cheers to Alli and Travis!
