Stephanie & Antonio’s Magical Beachfront Wedding at Lake Tahoe’s North Tahoe Event Center
I had the absolute joy of documenting Stephanie and Antonio’s beachfront incredible wedding day at the North Tahoe Event Center in King’s Beach, California! The day started with both of them getting ready at two amazing spots: Stephanie at Brockway Springs Resort and Antonio at The Crown Motel. Hanging out with Stephanie and her girls was such a blast! They were sipping mimosas and dancing away, all while enjoying the breathtaking view of Lake Tahoe. Their unit had stairs that led right down to the water and I knew I had to use that for some detail and gown shots. Stephanie’s dress was a total showstopper – strapless with a lace corset bust and a train that was delicate yet bold.
And Antonio’s suit? Oh my gosh, it was next-level amazing! He rocked a wasabi green suit with vibrant floral patterns on the jacket and pants. To top it off, he had emerald green shoes and matching floral bow ties for his groomsmen. It was such a fun, unique look that I’ve never seen before! Best part, he matched the wedding cake! 🙂 He got ready with his two little boys and those sweet moments between them were so special to capture!
The North Tahoe Event Center is such a gem – It’s right on the shores of Lake Tahoe and the combination of elegance and natural beauty is unreal. Picture this: a sandy aisle, the sound of gentle waves and the sun sparkling on the water as you exchange vows. It doesn’t get more dreamy than that! 🙂
Their reception was equally stunning! Dinner was in the gorgeous Timberline Ballroom, with long bridal party tables framing their sweetheart table. The speeches and toasts had everyone tearing up and then the energy shifted to full-on celebration on the dance floor in the Lakeview Suite. It was an evening filled with so much love and joy!
A moment for the cake! Words truly can’t express how breathtaking the cake Kymms Kakes designed for this wedding was. It’s not often you see a cake that mirrors the groom’s attire, but Kymm expertly brought this unique vision to life. She mentioned that most of her requests tend to focus on matching the bride’s dress, making this project all the more special. Every detail of the cake was meticulously crafted, from the simple off-center tiers that gave it an elegant yet modern flair to the carefully selected dried flowers that ornamented it. The color palette was harmonious and each pressed flower was placed with precision, creating a stunning visual that captivated everyone. I found myself taking photo after photo, unable to resist capturing its beauty from every angle! Kymm’s talent and creativity truly shine through in her work. The cake was not only a feast for the eyes, but also a testament to her dedication and artistry. I can’t wait to see more of her creations in the future! It was an absolute delight to work with Kymms Kakes for the first time and I genuinely hope our paths cross again soon. Highly recommended for anyone looking to add a touch of magic to their special day!
Speaking of magic, golden hour at this venue is pure magic. Since it’s on the north side of the lake, you get incredible cotton candy sunsets to the west, while still soaking in views of the south and west parts of the lake. Lake Tahoe’s scenery is just unbeatable. From romantic sunset shots along the shoreline to those candid, heartfelt moments beneath the tall pine trees, every photo felt infused with the magic of Tahoe’s natural beauty. Therefore, since cocktail hour was at the Lakeview Terrace, of course I was capturing all the photos of the guests! The space is so open, with stunning views in every direction. Guests were thrilled to get their photos taken with the lake as the backdrop and it was such a fun, beautiful and lively atmosphere! Stephanie and Antonio’s guests were some of the kindest, sweetest and most fun people I’ve ever met! It was such a pleasure celebrating with them all day long and working with the North Tahoe Event Center team was such a great experience – I can’t wait to collaborate with them again in the future! Sam from A Beautiful Sound DJ & Live Music did an incredible job keeping the guests entertained and dancing all night! It was also a pleasure working with him for the first time!
A lakefront wedding in Lake Tahoe isn’t just a celebration; it’s an unforgettable experience. Stephanie and Antonio’s day was filled with so much love, laughter and beauty. I’m so grateful to have been a part of it! 🙂
