Last year, I woke up one morning with a styled bridal session vision that included a white horse. My husband and I would begin to see numerous white horses on our drives, but seemed like they were all on private residential areas. One summer day visiting his family’s ranch in the El Dorado hills, we went to have lunch at one of our favorite wineries in town that also offers horseback riding around the vineyard! This is when it all came together! I knew the perfect gown that I envisioned for the shoot, the color palette, props and areas on the property I wanted to shoot at!
Everyone at the winery and ranch were so helpful and supportive with planning and executing this session! The models were actually a couple that works at the ranch! They were so sweet and fun, it felt as though we’ve been friends for a while and had so much fun with the entire shoot. I knew I wanted to incorporate a fairy-tale ball gown style wedding dress into this session. The floral bouquet was designed by Bridget of Awesome Blossom Floral Design in Reno, Nevada, a premium florist that specializes in creating exquisite floral styling for weddings, events, and everyday moments. I told Bridget the vibes I had in mind for the styled session and let her do her magic with created the perfect bridal bouquet – It was more beautiful than I could have imaged! The textures and color palette were on point with a pop of yellow, but boldness of plum color.
It was a beautiful and warm August morning and the sun glistening over the grapevines was such a pretty sight. I photographed both bridal and couples photos all around the property and could have gone all day! I feel so thankful to have had this opportunity to bring this vision to life!
